Prof. Peter Sester

Professor Peter Sester is the Lemann Professor of International Business Law and Law & Economics and Director of the Institute for Tax Law and Law & Economics at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. He is also the Director of the Institute for Public Finance, Financial Law and Law & Economics at the University of St. Gallen since July 2014.
Prior to this, Peter Sester served as the Professor of Civil, Business and Tax Law and the Director of the Institute for Law and Finance at Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Germany [January 2013 to January 2014]. Additionally, he was a Honorary Professor at the University of Freiburg, Germany [July 2003 to December 2012], Professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology [April 2002 to December 2012] and Assistant Professor at the University of Marburg [August 1998 to March 2002].
Peter Sester is  currently a visiting professor at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro / COPPEAD.
Peter Sester served as a consultant to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Frankfurt (Finance Practice Group) from 2002 to 2014. His responsibilities included structuring of financial products and entities, corporate and family governance, legal opinions, internal training for lawyers, publications, and client seminars.
Peter Sester earned his Juridical Degree in Germany where he is also licensed to practice law (as a judge, prosecutor or lawyer). Prior to his degree, he served as an assistant to civil and penal law judges as well as prosecutors, administrative lawyers and attorneys/solicitors (so-called Referendariat) from October 1992 to April 1993 and again from October 1994 to April 1996.
Professor Peter Sester holds a doctorate degree from the Humboldt University of Berlin, Faculty of Economics, with his dissertation on "Institutional Reforms in Emerging Capital" in addition to holding a doctorate degree from the University of Heidelberg, Faculty in Law, writing there his dissertation on "Fiduciary Duties in Commercial Partnerships"

Todd Ruppert

R. Todd Ruppert is the Founder and CEO of Ruppert International, Inc. a firm with diversified interests globally in various fields including disruptive technologies, financial services, education, publishing, arts and entertainment, and youth development. 
In 2012 he retired from T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm with over $725 billion under management. He was board member, CEO and president of T. Rowe Price Global Investment Services, board member and co-president of T. Rowe Price International, and a member of the operating steering committee of the T. Rowe Price group. Todd is a venture partner with Greenspring Associates, a US based venture capital firm with $4.0 billion under management. He is the chairman of several firms, board president of London’s Royal Parks Foundation (USA) and board member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He was a founding board member of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in the US and a global ambassador of the International Award.

Nachson Mimran

Nachson began his professional career in 2010 as President of ‘Eurafrique, Sometra, and Cavpa’, both part of an international food processing, grain trading, and shipping conglomerate headquartered in Monaco. The company’s operations are both in Europe and in West Africa. In 2011, he co-founded MCHN (Mobile Clearinghouse Network), a provider of worldwide connection between the market of mobile phones and financial services.
Nachson is a board member of ‘Foundation Marie-Louise Mimran’ and of the Swiss luxury resort ’The Alpina Gstaad’. Since 2012, he is also the Head of International Relations and Communication of CNOSS (Senegal National Olympic & Sports Committee).
Nachson holds a Bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Westminster, London. 

Magda Gabriel

Magda Gabriel has spent her career in banking in Switzerland. After many years of advising family clients in private banking, she turned her focus to advising business families on family enterprise continuity over generations, as a Senior Associate at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group (CFEG). She acted as a Family Facilitator at Harvard Business School’s executive education program Families in Business: From Generation to Generation, which examines pivotal issues facing family businesses. She has now become an Associate Partner of Alpës Capital AG, a multi-family office based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Magda Gabriel began her banking career at UBS in Zurich, followed by Nordfinanz Bank where she worked in commercial banking. She began her work in private banking in 1994 at Rothschild Bank in Zurich. In 2001, she joined HSBC Private Bank as Head of the Zurich Latin American Desk. In 2011, Magda became a Member of the Executive Committee of HSBC Private Bank Switzerland and the Head of the LATAM Business Area for Switzerland and Luxembourg. She also acted as Chairman for the Swiss Trust Company at HSBC Private Bank. In 2014 Magda joined CFEG as a Senior Associate Partner.

Magda Gabriel earned her BA in Business Administration and Economics Science from the PUC University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and her MBA from the University of Michigan, USA.  She is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.
